THINKING OUTSIDE THE PENALTY BOX, MOVING THE GOALPOSTS AND RAISING THE CROSSBAR - Vice-President of the Confederation of Independent Football Associations, and CEO of the Manx International Football Alliance, Malcolm has been described as a maverick because he will not accept what is accepted as the 'norm', especially when it comes to his passion, football. He has been involved in the Isle of Man football scene for 40 years and has recently been vocal over a determination to provide a fresh and exciting challenge for young Manx Football players on the International Stage. This has brought him into public debate with the recognised and long-established football authorities. Malcolm's formation of MIFA and its football team, Ellan Vannin, saw him being instrumental in establishing the global organisation that is CONIFA, which operates for countries and regions who are not represented on the international football stage under the FIFA umbrella. CONIFA has a membership that covers in excess of 500 million people across the globe.
